Democratic incumbent i George S. Aldhizer II retained his seat as State Senator from the 20th Senatorial District in Tuesday’s election. He was opposed by V. Stephen Bradshaw of Harrisonburg, an attorney. In Rappahannock County Aid hizer’s victory was an easy one. He polled 721 votes as compared to 244 for Bradshaw. All figures are unofficial. The 20th Senatorial Dis trict is composed of the counties of Rappahannock, Page, Warren, Rockingham and the city of Harrisonburg. For the House of Delegates Tom Frost with no opposition polled 704 votes in Rappahannock.
Incumbents swept to an easy victory for the two contested seats on the local Board of Supervisors. E. M. F'stes in Piedmont District polled 160 votes as compared to 39 cast for Netus Brown. H. B. Wood in Stonewall District retained his seat with 137 ballots while his opposition Charles C. Gasch had 55. L. H. Luttrell, the Supervisor of Jackson District, was not threatened by the hurried write-in campaign of John Law rence. Luttrell walked away with more than a four to one edge when he received 113 of
