Miss Margaret Oliver of Wash-; ington, D.C. will be the guest speaker for the annual Federation Meeting of District 8 of the | Homemakers Clubs which convenes in Culpeper on Thursday, May 9. Miss Oliver is the Program Leader, Home Economics, Federal Extension Service, lT.S. Department of Agriculture. The meeting will be held at the Culpeper Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Supper Benefits Amissville Methodist Church

A benefit supper for Amissville Methodist Church will be held Saturday, May 4 at the church. The menu will include Old Virginia ham and chicken, a variety of vegetables, hot biscuits, drink and dessert. Serving will begin at 5 p.m. and the price is $2.00 for adults and 75 cents for children under 12.

Chicken - Ham Dinner

There will be a Chicken and Ham Supper served Saturday, i May 4 starting at 5 o’clock DST at the Chester Gap fire hall for the benefit of the Fire Department. All are invited.
