Rappahannock County will be! witnessing a sharp increase in its young adult population inj the next few years, with a consequent rise in the local f marriage rate and in the number of new household formations.
It is not idle speculation. It Is based upon solid, statistical evidence. The latest Census Bureau figures show that approximate ly 579 young men and young! women in the local area arc now in the 20 to25agebracketj the young adult category. This is a big increase over the number that are normally in that age group. In I960, for example, there were only 312. Why the sudden increase? It harks back to the second.
