Miss Bonnie Jean North, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey J. North, Sr. of Huntly was among those graduating in the June 23 graduation exercises of Strayer Junior College in Washington, D. C. She received her diploma for her work in the General Business program. Miss North has accepted a secretarial position for the Department of Civil Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute at Blacksburg, Va. Miss North, a 1967 graduate of Rappahannock County High School was on the honor roll for the spring quarter at Strayer.
Rev. Rasberry Resigns
Chester Gap Pastorate
The congregation of the Chester Gap Baptist Mission held a dinner and picnic on Saturday for the Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Rasberry, with approximately 40 present. Rev. Rasberry has resigned as pastor of the local church, effective July 1.
