Rev. Glaenzer Resigns

As Bromfield Rector

The Rev. Charles F. Glaenzer has announced his resignation as Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Bromfield Parish, effective as of July 31,1968.

He came to Trinity in July, 1963 after graduation from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria. Prior to that he had served 21 years in the service, retiring from the Air Force. He was ordained as a Priest, December 14, 1963 in Trinity Church by Bishop Frederick D. Goodwin, retired Bishop of Virginia.

Both Mr. Glaenzer and his wife Barbara have been active in county, church, and civic affairs. He was 1964 and 1965 President of Washington Elementary School PTA, Rappahannock’s Alternate j Delegate to the Community College Project for Area No. 15 and served as a member of the Budget Review Committee for the County,

He leaves to be Priest-in-charge of the Church of the Messiah, a mission church in Highland Springs, Va.
