Army Private Robert E. Frye, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. James N. Frye, Flint Hill completed eight weeks of advanced infantry training May 31 at Ft. Jackson, S. C.
He received specialized instruction in small unit tactics and in firing such weapons as the M-24 rifle, the M-60 machine gun and the 3.5-inch rocket launcher.
His wife, Alice, lives on Arco route, Front Royal.

The Junior Choir of Macedonia Baptist Church of Flint Hill will; celebrate their anniversary Sunday, July 7 at 3 p.m. Rev. John Trammel of Germantown, Md. will be the guest speaker and willbe accompanied by a group of singers.
