Among the bids requested by the State Highway Department for opening July 24 in Richmond is one in Rappahannock County. The project here is for 3.18 miles of reconstruction, aggregate base and a triple 10x6 concrete culvert at a stream on Route 642 from Viewtown to near Route 211 at Amissville.
School Disposition Committee Meets Friday
The Committee that was appointed to make recommendations as to the disposition of the Sperryville school property will meet Friday night, June 28. Meeting will be held at 8 p.m. at the school at Sperryville and Flint Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Grigsby of Castleton.
