Mrs. Mabel Hitt and Mrs. Douglas Perkins have both returned to the respective homes after being patients in the Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Charlie Jackson of Gladys, Va. who has been a conditional trooper trainee in Rappahannock was a dinner guest Tuesday evening of Mrs. Sarah Latham. Other guests were Mrs. David Streagle and children Shannon and Marc of Washington, Va. Mr. Jackson completed his training here Tuesday and will attend school at State Police Headquarters in Richmond until November. Mrs. Victoria Corder of Culpeper is spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. Edward Scott and family. Susan Latham is spending this week with her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. David Hoadley in Arlington.

Flint Hill Bridge Club

The Flint Hill Bridge Club was entertained Monday evening by Mrs. L. B. Burford at her home. Her guests were Mrs. Wallace Russell, Mrs. John S, 3rowning, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mrs. T. L. Eastham, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. Earle Edmonds, Mrs. James F. Massie and Mrs. Emory Russell.

Also Mrs. Joel Jenkins, Mrs. F. W. Spalding, Mrs. B. J. Wood and Mrs. Paul Miller. Prizes were given to Mrs. Wallace Russell, Mrs. Browning, Mrs. Bradford and Mrs. Eastham.

Birth Announced

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lillard of Arlington are the parents of a daughter Christine Margaret born June 11, 1968 in the Fairfax Hospital.

Grandparents of the baby are Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard of Flint Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Grigsby of Castleton.
