Dr. McCubbin Heads TB Advisory Committee
Dr. H. Pearce Maccubbin of Winchester has accepted appointment as chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee of the Tuberculosis & Health Association of Northern Virginia, succeeding Dr. Robert S. Boyd who served in this capacity for three years. The local association will be represented on the Governing Council of the Virginia Thoracic Society, of which he is a member. The prominent physician received his M. D. from the University of Maryland in 1940 where he also served his Internship and residency. His specialty is internal medicine. Dr. Maccubbin is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Society of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the Department of Allergy. On the staff of Winchester Memorial Hospital, he is presently serving as a member of the Medical Auditing Committee.
