If you have not met the young man whose news stories, especially those concerning political activities, you have been reading in the Rappahannock News, he is Douglas Baumgardner. Doug is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Baumgardner of Washington, Va. and Alexandria and he spends his summers in Rappahannock. He leaves today for Lexington where he will be among the 330 freshmen who will enroll in Virginia Military Institute. He w01 have a week of orientation on cadet life before beginning academic classes. He was a 1969 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Alexandria. ■ 111 1
