Miss Bonnie Lee DeMent recently returned home from a year’s tour of Europe. While in Europe Bonnie attended Nottingham University, Nottingham, England Her guest for several weeks has been John Thomas Versaggi of Tampa, Fla. Mrs. DeMent’s mother, Mrs. Garnet Taylor of Silver Spring, Md. was also a guest last week in the DeMent home.
Mrs. B. M. Varner is a patient in Winchester Memorial Hospital. She was visited Thursday by Mrs. George Hawkins and Mrs. Nina Brown. They were accompanied by Mrs. Varner’s sister, Mrs. Maurice Manuel of Front Royal. On Monday Mrs. Virginia Lewis and son Bob visited Mrs. Vamer and Miss Ruth Menefee who is also a patient there.
Birth Announced
llr. and Mrs. Curtis Absher of Princeton, Kentucky announce the birth of a daughter Melinda Ruth on August 6, 1969 in Princeton. The Abshers have two other daughters, Karen and Anita. Mrs. Absher was Miss Barbara Jones, former Home Demonstration Agent in Rappahannock County.
