Mrs. W. A. Gentry attended National Extension Homemakers Council at V.P.I., Blacksburg from August 11-15. She was a Wednesday evening dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. E. Alvin Gentry in Radford. Miss Sharon Dodson of Staunton accompanied Mrs. W. A. Gentry to Bent Mountain on August 9 where a new post office was dedicated.
Mrs. E. M. Eastham has returned to her home East Hamlet after spending some time with her son W. G. Eastham and family in Amissville. Mrs. Crim of Front Royal is staying in the Eastham home.
Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Dennis and children Debra and Bill returned to their home in Jackson, S. C. Monday after £ two weeks vacation visit with relatives. On Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. Dennis and children, Mrs. Thelma Russell, Mr. and Mrs. Patterson Biggs with Mr. and Mrs. James R. Johnson and children Dennis and Jim of 1 »uray and Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Dennis of Amissville were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J, G. Russell in Winchester.
The Rev. and Mrs. James Craig and four daughters of Nashville, Tenn. were guests from Wednesday until Monday of Mrs. Craig’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Clark and family.
