First Aid Classes Begun at Washington
First Aid classes were begun at Washington fire house Monday night and are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday nights each week until completed. Class time is from 7 P m- lo & p.m. and the public is invited to attend. Mrs. Bertha Armel is instructor for the course.
Annual Turkey Dinner In Hint Hill
The combined Baptist and Methodist Churches of Flint Hill will hold their annual Turkey Dinner Saturday, October 25 at the Fire Hall between 5 and 7 p.m. Plates will be $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for children under 10. This is for the benefit of both churches.
Amissville Baptist Schedule Revival
The fall revival at Amissville Baptist Church will begin Sunday, Oct. 26 and continue through the week closing on Friday, Oct. 31. The Rev. Paul Jakes of Clinton, Miss, will be the guest evangelist. This is the second year Mr. Jakes has conducted the revival here. Special music is planned for each service.
