Library Lines
The program of folk songs presented last Friday by Nan and Chuck Perdue and their sons was enjoyed by a capacity audience. All were enthusiastic in their response to the easy, informal atmosphere created by the Perdues, and their choiee of songs, as well as the brief background anecdotes which lent life to the old airs. Our most hearty thanks to the talented Perdues for an entertaining evening.
Any information about old folk songs, or about persons who might know lyrics handed down through the years, would be very helpful to Mr. Perdue for his thesis. Until a telephone serv ice is available, the Perdues can be reached at their home "Shingle Shanty”, Woodville or through the library.
