There will be a v i s i t o r in the county November 2-22nd to observe the Extension Adult and Youth Programs. She is Miss Jasmin Condez, a Philippine’s Progressional Rural Youth Leader Exchangee. She has been in the state since Sept, lb and will be returning to the Philippines after the 30 th of November. The purpose of Miss Condez’s stay in the county is to observe the Extension Programs and to exchange ideas and information with the host counties. Miss Condez is at present in Page County and has been in Rockingham.
Miss Condez holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Foods and Nutrition and also in Education. She is a rural youth officer for the Agricultural Productivity Commission.
The PRYLE (Professional Rural Youth Leader Exchange) program is conducted by the National 4-H Club Foundation in behalf of the Cooperative Extension Service. The program with the Philippines is in cooperation with the National 4-H Club Advisory Council and the Agricultural Productivity Commission.
If there are persons interested in entertaining Miss Condez in their homes, please notify the Extension Office (675 3619). Arrangements will be made, if there are no existing conflicts. Miss Condez will be staying in homes of the county.
