R. L. Kennedy
A funeral service for Robert I^ee (Jolly) Kennedy of Boston was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Geest Funeral Chapel, Culpeper and was conducted by Elder Clarence Frazier. Interment was in the Woodward cemetery at Boston.
Mr. Kennedy, 75, died Sunday, October 19, 1969 at Leland Nursing Home in Charlottesville. He was a native of Peola Mills, son of the late Leake and Mollie Fineham Kennedy. His wife, the former Bertha Woodward, died in 1964.
Surviving are two sons, John Daniel Kennedy of Fairfax and Walter C. Kennedy* of Boston; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Benning and Miss M»y Kennedy, both of Boston; four grandchildren land 12 great-grandchildren. 1
Mrs, Norine Hoffman
Mrs. Norine Elizabeth Weaver Hoffman, 78. of Orange died October 15, 1969 at the hospital in Gordonsville. A funeral service was held at the Preddy Funeral Home, Orange, on Friday and interment was in Graham Cemetery there.
Surviving Mrs. Hoffman are three daughters, Mrs. Helen Ware and Miss Virginia Hoffman, both of Orange, and Mrs. Thelma Dudley of Silver Spring, Md.; a brother, J. Stant Weaver of Washington, Va. and four sisters, Mrs. Cary Thornhill, Mrs. Jesse Hawkins and Mrs. George Butler, all of Boston, Va. and Mrs. A. B. Honts, Front Royal.
