Mra. Hattie Jackson

Mrs: Hattie Roberta Jackson of Sperryville died January 10,1970 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

She was 76, a native of Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Ned and Eliza Freeman Haney and widow of Suttie Jackson.

Surviving are eight sons; Richard Jackson and Peter Jackson, both of Washington, D. C., Lillard Jackson, Henry Jackson and Freddie Jackson, all of Sperryville, John Jackson of Fairfax, Ned Jackson of Vienna and Thomas H. Jackson of Glen Arden, Md; four daughters, Mrs. Robert Hale of Culpeper, Mrs. Thomas Jackson of Woodvilie, Mrs. John Wigington of Vienna 'and Mrs. Alice Matthews of Sperryville; 39 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; one brother, John Haney of Boston, Va., and one sister, Mrs. Ella Jackson of Caledonia, N. Y.

A funeral service was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church at Woodvilie with burial in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Thomas Wigington, Howard Butler, Charles Jackson, Lewis Butler, Charles Williams and Morris Carter.
