John B. Boldridge of Culpeper died January 10, 1970 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital- He was 85 years old. Mr. Boldridge was a life resident of Culpeper and was a self-employed surveyor. He was a member of St. Stephens Lodge No. 169 A.F.&A.M. at Brandy Station.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mabel C. Boldridge, two daughters, Mrs. Winston M. Somerville and Mrs. Horace W. Stqllings, both of Culpeper and six grandchildren; a brother, Dr. J. R. Boldridge of Rixeyville; and one sister, Miss Ella Boldridge.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Culpeper Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Horace Douty and the Rev. John Farrar officiating. Interment was in Culpeper Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers were G. W. Mitchell, J. B. Hudson, Clarence Gore, W. D. Reams, Jr., George Beard and Arley Estes. Clore Funeral Home was in charge.
Thomas W. Kilby
Thomas W. Kilby of Brandy Station died suddenly December 24, 1969.
A funeral service was held January 2 at the Nazareth Baptist Church of Boston, Va., where he was a deacon for 13 years, conducted by the Rev. R. L. Banks and the Rev. J. A. Holmes. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Rebecca Kilby; two sons, Forrest Hubert Kilby of AFB, Philippine Islands, and Justin Wayne Kilby of Flint Hill; two daughters, Pamela Rebecca and Paula Regina Kilby of Brandy Station; one grandchild, Renee Kilby of Flint Hill. His mother, Mrs. Malendie Kilby of Etlan; four brothers, Otis and Otha Kilby of Haywood and Walter and Hugh Kilby of Etlan; five sisters, Mrs. Fannie Slaughter of Catlett, Mrs. Bertha Frye of Flint Hill, Mrs. Nettie Patterson of Etlan and Mrs. Elizabeth Frye of Leicester, N.Y. and Mrs. Jennie Dade of Criglersville.

Mrs. Anna M. Sisk of Curtis Bay, Md. died December 26, 1969 in South Baltimore General Hospital, at the age of 76.
She was a native of Sperryville, the daughter of the late William and Ada Fant and the widow of William J. Sisk.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ada May Anderson-of Glen Bumie, Md., Mrs. Doris Baumgardner and Mrs. Frances Fell of Curtis Bay, Md., four sons, Charles H. Sisk, Aden B. Silk and Stonewall J. Sisk all of Glen Bumie and Wood H. Sisk of Baltimore; a twin sister, Mrs. Lina V. Totten of Brooklyn, Md.; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held December 30 from McCully Funeral Home with interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Bumie.

Sp/5 Samuel D. Snead, recently returned from a tour of duty with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam, has been assigned to Hunter Army Airfield near Savannah, Ga. While in Vietnam, Sam received the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Unit Gtation.
