Fashionable headgear in Rappahannock and most any part of the country recently has been ski masks, scarves, fur hats and most anything that contains any warmth. Severely plunging temperatures along with the already snowy and icy roads combined to give students a few days vacation from their studies. Much activity was curtailed or stopped completely and news, except for ice and snow, which is no longer news, was scarce.
