Castleton Fire Company, along with Amissville, Flint Hill, and Sperryville responded to a house Hw *UURUiy IrtfRI 9tr vtHlCvCin when the home of Vincent Edwards was destroyed.
Castleton responded to a field fire March 8 at Viewtown and on the 1st answered a call to a Are at the Red Oak fire tower. Castleton Rescue Squad took Mrs. Lawrence Dennis to Culpeper Memorial Hospital on March 14.
Amissville Fire Company answered a call to a field fire March 11 at Jeffersonton but were turned back before arriving at the scene. The same evening the department extinguished a field fire at the property formerly owned by Maggie Riley and another on the property of Mrs. Mary Rollins. Mrs. T. D. Semones was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital Monday by the Amissville Rescue Squad.
Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Scott Clanagan from his home to Warren Memorial Hospital.
