Culpeper March 24
Barter Theater’s spring tour will bring “The Hasty Heart” to this area on March 24. Sponsored by the Mental Health Association of Culpeper, the performance will be at Culpeper’s new high school auditorium at 8 p.m. Advance ticket sales in this area are being handled by Mrs. Roberta Spalding and Mrs. Frances Lyne. Tickets are also available in Culpeper at Crafton and Sparks. David-Eddy Gifts, the Culpeper and Second National Banks, and the Holiday Inn. Admission is $3. Since the new 1300-seat auditorium is well planned and acoustically near-perfect, all seats are good. “The Hasty Heart” is a Barter revivdl}'’the most 'popular ' play they have ever done. First produced by Barter’s Robert Porterfield in 1946, it is the story of a British soldier’s last weeks in a Far East hospital and the change that takes place in his heart when he learns for the first time the lesson of brotherly love.

Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bowey were visitors Saturday of Mrs. Blanche McCraw who is a patient in Cafritz Memorial Hospital in Washington, D. C. Enroute home they were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. A1 Stober at Seven Corners.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Tolson flew to Orlando, Fla., spent the day and returned home that night. \
