The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Dept, was called on Sunday morning to assist Front Royal in \H fife on Main Street which destroyed two businesses.
Sperryville Fire Company reported to a brush fire March 8 in Jenkins Hollow. On March 17 they answered a call to a chimney fire at the home of Cliff Weakley. Flint Hill also answered this call to the Weakley fire but services were not needed.
Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Mrs. Mamie Wrenn frbm the home of Miss Lucy Estes to the Warren Memorial Hospital on Friday. On Saturday a patient was taken from Five Forks to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Monday Mrs. Jessie Rowzie was taken from home to Winchester Memorial Hospital.
Flint Hill Rescue Squad took Mrs. Mary Hickerson from home to the Winchester Memorial Hospital. On Sunday they were called to a wreck on Route 522. Services not needed.
