The annuel Lawn Party sponsored by Willis Chapel Methodist Church will be held Saturday, July 4th on the church grounds at Huntly. Dinner will feature country ham and fried chicken accompanied by vegetables, salads, drinks and dessert. Serving begins at 5 p.m.

Prepare for Carnival
Castleton fire and rescue benefit carnival is scheduled for next week, and will begin Wednesday then continue through Saturday. Volunteers are busy making plans and preparations, fixing stands, polkinc gmunds and doing the other dosin things necessary to insure success of the four-night festival.
A variety of rides, games and amusements will offer entertainment for everyone. Good food and drinks will be available and an exciting time awaits those who attend.
The carnival highlight will be the awarding of prizes Saturday night. First prize is a Falls lawn tractor with a 32 inch blade. Other prizes include a 12 gauge double-barrel Fox shotgun and 4 automobile tires.
