Fireworks Set

At Avon Hall

Mr. and Mrs. William Carrigan Will have an unusual display of fireworks on the Fourth of July evening at their home Avon Hall, Washington. The Carrigans have held a display of fireworks for the past several years, and, as before, invite the public to enjoy them also. Some new types of fireworks will be added this year including a “flag burning’’. People may sit on the hill behind the courthouse near Avon Lake for good viewing and parking space is available on Gay Street. A luminary display will grace the lawn and edge the lake of Avon Hall, reflecting in the water.

A special big surprise is expected for youngsters at 7:3Ql mid they should keep a sharp lookout and wide open ears about his time.

Band music will be broadcast over a loud speaker as will the address ‘The Fourth of July in Our Day” by Gen. Frederick Vetter, Jr., Commander of the 436th Air Life Wing, Dover AFB.
