Group Plans Picnic
Past and present members of the Rappahannock Arts and Crafts Group and all other interested persons are invited to attend a picnic at Kilby’s pond near Sperryville, July 14, at 11 a.m. There will be a demonstration of chip carving. Anyone wishing to try his hand at this type of carving should bring: a bar of soap, a bar of paraffin wax or piece of very soft wood and a single edged razor blade or carving knife. Each person should bring his own sandwich. Iced tea will be furnished.
