Mr. and Mrs. Emmett E. Coffey of Culpeper announce the marriage of their daughter, Barbara, to Floyd M. Utz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Utz of Castle ton. The marriage took place June 19, 1970 at Forest Grove Baptist Church, Viewtown with the Rev. John H. Gabbert performing the double ring ceremony.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a street-length dress of ivory lace fashioned with long puffed sleeves and an Empire waistline accented with a satin bow. Her veil was attached to an ivory satin bow and fell to her shoulder. She carried a white Bible with white mums and carnations.
Miss Dorothy Watson of Charlottesville was maid of honor and only attendant for her cousin. Her Empire style dress was white lace over brown and her headpiece was a veiled brown satin bow. Her flowers were a nosegay of white mums and daisies.
Wayne Utz acted as best man for his brother.
