A reception was held in the church social hall. Serving cake and punch were Mrs. Roy Whetzel, Miss Diane Whetzel, Mrs. A. C. Hensley and Mrs. Jim Mills.
The bride’s mother wore a turquoise knit dress and a corsage of yellow daisies. For her son’s wedding, Mrs. Utz chose a pale blue knit dress and a corsage of yellow daisies.
Mr. and Mrs. Utz are making their home in Rixeyville.

The Rev. J. S. Colvin of Viewtown has been appointed to serve Cedar Grove and Ebenezer churches of the south Culpeper Methodist Charge. Sunday School is set for 10 a.m. and the worship service for 11 a.m. each Sunday at Cedar Grove. A schedule will be worked out for Ebenezer. These churches have been neglected and according to Rev. Colvin everyone interested is welcomed to help get them revived.
