Five generations were present recently for a birthday party in honor of a nonagenarian, Mrs. Belle Smith, of Culpeper. Mrs. Smith celebrated her 90th birthday at the home of Mrs. Ellen Jenkins at Catalpa. Included in the five generations were Mrs. Bessie Do ores and Mrs. Smith, both of Culpeper, seated in front; standing, Mrs. Asa Smith of Winchester and her son Bobby Smith of Springfield, whose two daughters Amy and Leann complete the group. The mother of these two little girls is the former Harriet Goode, now Mrs. Bobby Smith, who was at one time Extension Agent, Home Economics in Rappahannock County.
