Charles Luther Jenkins, 68, of Boyce, Va. died June 26,1970 at the Shawnee Springs Nursing Home, Winchester. He was a native of Rappahannock County, bom in Sperryville, September 23, 1901. the son of the late Luther Elliott and Ada Florence Jenkins.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Gussie Kent Jenkins; three sons, Robert G. Jenkins who is serving in Germany with the U. S. Army, Charles L (Buddy) Jenkins, Jr. of Boyce, Conway Gibson Jenkins, Tappahannock; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret J. Mortis of PurcetlviUe; a sister, Mrs. Louise Deal of Feola Mills; four brothers, Jack Jenkins, Winchester, Hubert Jenkins, Falls Church and Reynolds and Carl Jenkins, both Alexandria; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Jesse E. Tate at the John H. Enders Funeral HOHome, Berryviile and interment was in Green Hill Cemetery in Berryviile.
