Dolan Jenkins 111 From Copperhead Bite
Silas Dolan Jenkins of Sperryville remains in the University of Virginia Hospital for treatment for a bite from a copperhead snake. On July 14 Mr. Jenkins was bitten when he moved a bale of hay in the barn. He succeeded in killing the snake. He was first treated at Culpeper Memorial Hospital and later entered the University Hospital for further medical attention.
