camp site*, the lake, dining facilities and other accommodations. Continued care and upkeep is maintained through the individuals and businesses of the counties named. Those from the Flint Hill Troop attending camp were Mike Raney, Bill Scoggin, Ronn Lillard, Andy Nichols, Charlie Swalm, Allen Vest and Steve Payne. All of these boys earned some merit badges, and fields of interest were swimming, life saving, canoeing, nature, soil and water conservation and rowing.
The Order of the Arrow tap-out was held Friday night following the campfire. At this time boys who had excelled in camping and leadership were tapped and included Mike Raney and Bill Scoggin. They successfully passed the Ordeal and became members of the Order, the highest honor in scouting.
Andy Nichols was invited to remain at the camp an additional week as a counselor in training where he worked on the waterfront.
