Announcement has been made that the national average price support loan rate for 1971-crop wheat will be $1.15 per bushel and the domestic marketing certificate will have a value of $1.39 per bushel making a total price support on the crop $2.54 per bushel or 90 percent of parity as of July 1, 1970. Domestic certificates will be issued on about 535 million bushels. Wheat growers will receive farm allotments, a program information leaflet, and a ballot in the mail before the July 27-31 referendum.
