The Rappahannock Rescue Squad on Wednesday, August 12 took Mrs. Alice Verner from her home in Washington to Culpeper Memorial Hospital, then to the University of Virginia and home again. Friday, the 14th Leland Syke’s son was taken from home in Washington to Warren Memorial Hospital. On Sunday night Mrs. James Nicholson was taken from Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Flint Hill Rescue Squad took William Lee Riley from his home on the John R. Moore Farm to Warren Memorial Hospital, on Friday. Sunday Joe Polask was taken from his home on Route 64 7 near The Kennels to Culpeper Memorial Hospital and returned home.
