Essex County for Charles Burnely Newbill, brother of Mrs. D. D. Miller, who died Saturday in Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond.

Mrs. Frances Eubank, Mrs Herndon Hudson and children Mary Corder, Sandra Dee and Michael were supper guests Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Menefee in Warrenton. Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley were honored with a surprise anniversary party Friday night at the home of Mrs. Weakley’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carroll at Windsor Towers in Arlington. Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Weaklev had a supper party at The Pinnacles and attended the Amphitheatre program at Elk Wallow on Skyline Drive.

Mr. and Mrs. Allie Huff and sons returned home Friday after spending several days at Colonial Beach. Sunday they visited Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Huff in Silver Spring, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Perry and son of Culpeper were visitors of the Huffs Monday night. Ricky Perry remained to spend the week with his cousins.

Reunion At Bunree

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas G. Laing entertained at their home Bunree ; Farm at Amissville on Saturday and Sunday, August 15 and 16 with a reunion for the Harris family. Mrs. Laing is the former Sarah Montgomery Harris. They were joined by sixty-two members of the Harris family, some from as far away as Vermont and Illinois.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Laing immediate family included their daughters Miss Aileen Hyland Laing at home and Mrs. Dwight Platt and Mr. Platt of Annapolis Md., their son Dr. Noel Laing, Mrs. Laing and six children of Purcellville.

Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harris of Baltimore (Mrs. Laing’s brother), theii daughter Mrs. Alexander Brown Mr. Brown and two children ol Baltimore, Md.; Dr. and Mrs. V Jackson Dorset of Largo, Fla (Mrs. Laing’s sister), theii daughters and families, Mr. ane Mrs. Kenneth Gyarnathy Westfield, N. J. and Mr. and Mrs i Thomas Thuma of Columbus ■ Ohio.
