Riding Clinic At
Bine Rock Farm
A riding clinic is being conducted this week at Blue Rock Farm west of Washington, Va. by Miss Joanne van Brederode. Classes including preliminary through advanced training place emphasis on cross country and stadium jumping. Miss van Brederode anticipates increasing interest in the art of riding combined with training.
Total enrollment in the clinic which is held for six days is 22. On Saturday, August 22 at 8 a.m. competition for the students will be held and spectators are invited to attend.
Miss van Brederode has received extensive schooling in riding and instruction. She attended the Equitation Lodge at Baysport, Long Island, N. Y. and the Porlock Vale School of Riding in Minehead, England where she received a B.H.S.A.I. degree. This summer she completed the Virginia Combined Training Centre at Foxcroft School, Middleburg.
