Village in spite of winning twice during the week was unable to increase the league lead. Village’s two victories were over Charted and Viewtown by the scores of 7-0 and 6-5. Amissville kept pace by running over WTC 18-7 and holding on for dear life against Viewtown 10-7. Viewtown went down to a third defeat by losing to Charted 13-12 on Sunday at Amissville. Charted’s second victory was over their kissing cousins WTC 5-4. The victory was Charted’s sixth out of seven games with WTC. The games scheduled for Thursday, August 20th have been rescheduled, and Sunday Viewtown and Village will play on the Village diamond.
