4-H Fair Aug. 26

In Flint Hill

A Rappahannock 4-H Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26 at the Flint Hill fire hall. Club members will exhibit work done in the summer program under the direction of Miss Sandra Foster. *nie public is urged to attend and encourage these youngsters. Exhibits will be open to the public between the hours of 1 and 9 p.m.

Children are advised to bring their project work between 9 and 11 a.m. for exhibiting. Judging will take place from 11:15 to 12:30 by Miss Gail Hammons, Extension Agent Page County and her work-study agent, Mias Mary Evelyn Walters.

A 5:30 p.m. awards will be presented exhibitors and a picnic for children and parents will be held with families bringing covered dishes.

Areas for judging are wire sculpture, tye-dying, foil boxes, string pictures and drawings, brownies, cookies, clothing and home furnishings.
