Hart Goes to Grand
Jury After Hearing
A preliminary hearing took place in Rappahannock County Court Tuesday for Harry M. Hart of Culpeper who was charged in the slaying of Eric Carlton Davis of Warrenton. Davis died July 19 of gunshot wounds inflicted the previous night by Hart at Flat wood Inn. Hart was arrested for feloniously shooting Davis that night and following his death the murder warrant was issued.
Hart was sent on to the grand jury which is scheduled to convene on November 9. He is being held in Rappahannock County jail and bond was set at $10,000. Judge W. F. Moffett was presiding.

Amissville softball team has emerged as the winners of the second half of the Tri-County Slow Pitch Softball League and will- play Viewtown, winners of the first half, in the best four out of seven series for the championship.
