Mrs. H. B. Winfrey entertained with dinner on Sunday at Holly House Restaurant to celebrate Miss Annie Stephenson’s birthday. Guests were Harry Stephenson, Mr. and Mrs. George Muth, Mrs. W. R. Williamson and Mr. and Mrs. E. 0. Willis, Jr. Sunday afternoon visitors of Mrs. Winfrey were Mrs. D. B. Winfrey of Martinsburg, W. Va., Dr. and Mrs. D. S. Winfrey and children David and Carolyn of Hagerstown, Md., Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Eppright, Miss Margaret Willis and Miss Margaret Lee Willis of Culpeper.
Mrs. Dudley Pullen spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Trout and Chris in Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson were Sunday afternoon callers of Miss Mary Carter. On Monday night they attended the AWRP meeting in Culpeper.
Wednesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wayland were Mrs. John Williams of Culpeper, Bill Eahart and Mrs. Lester Abel and daughter of Manassas and Mrs. Madeline Sams of Arlington. On Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Wayland visited Clarence and Willie Butler, Jerome Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Jenkins in Culpeper, and on Friday were visitors of Lester Wayland, who is a patient in Newton D. Baker Hospital, Martinsburg.
