Library Lines
Through the generosity of one of its faithful supporters, your Library now has a telephone - the number is 675-3780.
The friends of Lois Finger Sevareid are contributing generously to the memorial fund being established as a permanent memorial in her honor. Both books and money have been given. The money will purchase a savings certificate, and the interest from this will be used to purchase books for the Library. Some of Mrs. Sevareid’s friends are planning to contribute on an annual basis, to help the fund grow and to perpetuate her generous efforts on behalf of the community. The two projects she especially sponsored the monthly Information and Entertainment Programs and the Interlibrary Loan Program with the Rappahannock Elementary School - are continuing, with the help of several volunteers. More help can be used on these efforts. If you can give 2 or 3 hours a week, or any other time, to extend the Library’s usefulness in the County, please contact Mrs. Ian Pryde, Chairman, Volunteer Committee, telephone 987-8221, or the Library, 675-3780.
