A Youth Ecology Seminar, sponsored by the Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease Association of Northern Virginia, was held in the ballroom of the Virginia Gentleman Restaurant in Front Roys), Virginia in November, to discuss the role of the school, community, and government in solving the present pollution problems.
Student representatives from fourteen schools attended and participated in the seminar, which was entitled “The World We Inherit.” Representatives from Rappahannock County Elementary School included Mark Bailey, Cindy Cumins, Patricia Clark, Barry Adkins and Raye Rector.

Classes Offered
The Extension Service has received requests for Clothing Construction Classes: a Basic or Beginning Class and a Knit Class. These Classes will be offered provided there is sufficient interest and twelve persons in each register. The Basic or Beginning Class will be taught during the day. This is for beginners who would like to learn basic clothing construction. The Knit Class is for those v' persons who have mastered basic construction details and are interested in mastering techniques necessary for construction of knit garments.
