Appointed Delegate to White House Conference
Larry Glick, a senior sociology major at Bridgewater College, has been chosen as a delegate to the Presidential Conference on Children which will be held December 13-18, at the White House in Washington. Larry was notified of his appointment by Gov. Linwood Holton. Tlu conference is held once ever} decade.
Larry is the son of Mr. and Mrs Dtmald Glick of Port Republic. Mrs. Glick is the former Jear Racer of Rappahannock and hei parents presently reside in Front Royal. Larry is a 67 graduate oi Montevideo High School and will receive his B.A. degree in May from Bridgewater College.
The purpose of the conference, as stated by Gov. Holton, is to formulate policy regulations for
