It had been a long day and I was beginning to feel the weight of the years. The task I had set for the day was nearing completion, I was trying to bum up some calories I had accumulated over the holidays. Well, I was kind o’ proud of myself, of a job well done. My energy was not depleted, sooo, I sez to myself - sez I; where does all this energy come from? Just then I raised my eyes to the rim of the mountains, and something within me seemed to say; “My help comes from God, who made all this beautiful earth and a heaven for my soul.” Speaking of heaven; the father of a friend has just passed through transition.
