A Christmas Cantata, “ComeJ
Hasten, Ye Shepherds”, by Friedrich Zipp will be presented in the Flint Hill United Methodist Church Sunday evening, December 13, at five o’clock.
Under the direction of Gloria Harris, church organist, the choir will sing the vocal selections in the Cantata based on Luke, Chapters one and two, and Matthew, Chapter two, to be read by a narrator.
Accompanying the choir and playing solo parts will be Rebecca Taylor, organ, Leslie Callahan, flute, and Annabel Huffman, triangle. The soloists are all from Washington, D.C.
The public is cordially invited to hear this celebration of the| Christmas season.
Few Openings Left In Adult Ed. Class
Registration for adult education classes to be held at; RCHS each Thursday night for nine weeks beginning January 7 has reached a total of 51, with a few openings left for registration in classes in small engine! repairing, carving, welding, typing and caning.
Please get your name in with an application fee of $1 to Mrs. Mary Cleverley, Box 8. Flint Hill, as soon as possible. An additional! $4 will be due opening night of| the school.
