Miss Jane Ann Coleman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Coleman of Grove City, Pennsylvania became the bride of David William Kestner on Saturday, November 14, 1970 in St. John’s Catholic Church, Front Royal. Mr. Kestner is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Kestner of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Father John Cassidy, assisted by the Rev. B. Gale Titchenell, performed the ceremony before the altar which held baskets of white gladioli and daisy chrysanthemums. Mrs. David Blauvelt of Front Royal, soloist, sang “I’ll Walk Beside You,” “At Dawning”, and “The Lord’s Prayer.” She was accompanied by Mrs. Elizabeth Rudacille, organist.
Mr. Coleman gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a formal gown of white satin designed with an Empire waistline, long sleeves and a detachable train. Her full-length veil was attached to a pillbox headpiece covered with Venise lace.
Miss Kathy Campbell of Charlotte, N. C. was maid of honor. Her floor-length gown was of rose cotton jacquard fashioned on Empire lines, with full length puffed sleeves. An inserted band around the neckline was accented with silver and rose trim, as were the cuffs and waistline. She carried a nosegay of straw flowers in autumn hues.
Bridesmaids were Miss Dee Hartzell of Lansdale, Pennsylvania and Miss Jessie Hetrick of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. Their gowns designed like that of the honor attendant were avocado and were trimmed with gold and avocado. They also carried nosegays of straw flowers. Th^bride made the gowns for all of her attendants.
Best man for Mr. Kestner was Richard Farnsworth of Front Royal. Ushers were David Blauvelt and James Cobb, both of Front Royal.
