Rappahannock Jaycee basketball team took first place in the Jaycee Regional Tournament held last week at Louisa County High School. They defeated Madison, Orange and Culpeper teams to take the title. The team is composed of front row, standing: Roger Anderson, Maury Nichols, Julian Brown, C.E. Dodson and Jonas Jenkins; back row, Fred Fischer, Ronnie Pullen, Dean Hahn, Jerry Campbell and Roger Atkins. Jaycee president Wilson Burke is kneeling in the foreground. A Louisa County Jaycee official presents the trophy. The ten-member team represents a Jaycee Chapter which has only 33 members and this group placed second in the state in 1971. They will participate in the state tournament this year in Williamsburg.
