OBITUARIES
S.H. Woodward
Samuel Henry Woodward of Amissville died at Warren Memorial Hospital April 30. He was 83, a farmer, the son of the late Wesley and Lethe Woodward. He was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church, Viewtown.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Leake Woodward; one daughter, Mrs. Melvin Riley of Manassas; three sons, Clyde H. Woodward, Wilbur A. Woodward and John W. Woodward, all of Amissville; sixteen grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Woodward of Centreville; and one sister, Mrs. John Jenkins of Hartwood.
A funeral service was held Tuesday at Geest Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Sperryville Cemetery. The Rev. John Hodge of Fredericksburg conducted the service. □
