Rappahannock County High Cross Country team under the direction of coach John Toth is practicing for the season which opens September 30 with an invitational meet at Jafnes Wood. League competition will begin with a meet October at Warren County, who the RCHS coach says “will be hard to beat. They have a fine team this year.” On the local team are Bill Taylor, Charles Thomas, Tom Taylor and Carroll Jenkins, front row; standing are Ronnie Nicholson, John Summers, Andy Nichols and Bobby Titchenell, with manager Jerry Thomas and Mr. Toth.
