Dr. David J. Palmer, Dean of Student Personnel Services at Lord Fairfax Community College, announced today that some $190,906 of student aid money is still available for qualified students.
This package includes monies for Educational Opportunity Grants, Federal College Work-Study Program, National Direct Student Loans, and the Law Enforcement Education Program.
The average financial aid award made so far for this coming academic year is $900. Funds are available for approximately 200 additional awards: $62,691 has already been committed.
Prospective students who think they they may be qualified should call the Office of Student Financial Aid at Lord Fairfax Community College, 869-1120, in Middletown, as soon as possible. □
