Benjamin H. Weddle has been named Extension district agent for the Northern District with headquarters at Luray.
William E. Skelton, dean of Virginia Tech’s Extension Division, said the appointment is effective immediately.
Skelton said Weddle will assume the administrative leadership of Extension’s programs in Arlington, Caroline, Clarke, Culpeper, Fairfax, Fauquier, Frederick, King George, Loudoun, Madison, Orange, Page, Prince William, Rappahannock, Shenandoah, Spotsylvania, Stafford and Warren counties and the City of Alexandria.
Weddle succeeds James F. Johnson who was named district agent at large with offices in Blacksburg.
